Most liquids do not expand when they freeze, water is unusual in that regard. However, food colouring is mostly water, so I’m sure it does expand when frozen, so I don’t know why I’m saying this in the first place…
This comment led me down a rabbit hole of what liquids actually expand when frozen, which is just water and molten metals. Then I got curious if food coloring would still expand if concentrated enough (it will up to the eutectic point).
Well, strictly speaking, WATER expands when it freezes. It’s pretty special in that regard. But Kade isn’t a chemist, so it’s entirely reasonable for him to know that about water but not that it’s special, so that’s not a complaint on my part!
Merry Christmas for all!
Oh look, a voice of reason.
*First time catching it on the day*
B-but, the pumpkins give them character!
Well, merry Christmas to all, and may Harvey have mercy upon your soul… and your lights
I think I would rather seeing happy children rather than children screaming and running away due to the fact that my lights are horrifying
Merry christmas Tim!
Now I want to see what Ness will pick when it’s her year. 🙂
Rick is so… accepting. 😉
I really want to see said lights now.
Merry Christmas to all.
oh Harvey, thou art silly

It is an interesting field of study.
New rabbit hole for you: all the different ways water can freeze into “ice”!
New rule: Harvey no longer gets to pick the tree topper.
LOL
It’s the Christmas Spirit…
Harvey has The Christmas Spirit trapped in a jar?!? 😉 🙂
