I think, minus the kettle, it’s pretty typical in place where ice sheets form. I’ve worked sheets by hand to replicate weapon shapes with friends before, and I know others have as well.
Yep, and when it’s winter here in Oz, they’ll no doubt have a summer story. Side effect of living globally is it’s always cold somewhere I guess. I quite like the cold comics through summer like this, they are a nice way to cool off when it’s a hot day.
I can’t help but wonder how Nicole made the shield, its handle would not have been as simple as making an outline like her sword. Did she “glue” it on via cold/freezing water?
They are such adorkable geeks XD
You took the words right out of my mouth
Am I the only one who does NOT find this weird?

Sadly, not the kind of fun I can have down here in Brazil with our 38°C

I know that is the buster sword from final fantasy but is the sword and shield from any specific
I would say it’s relatively apparent that they are the Master Sword & [Hylian] Shield from Legend of Zelda?
Yeah, I’d say you’re right. That’s Hylian, likely.
As an amateur blacksmith, I’m curious how those blades were heat-treated
and tempered . . .
Steam? moving the heat source over them to glaze them into a harder state? Just Guessing.
Eggs, socks, bits of string, Peter Cullen, N.M.E., Sephiroth!
I heard the music….. i both love and hate you for this 🤣
That’s some impressive skill. Cosmetic Buster Swords can barely stay in one piece when made out of metal, much less out of snow.
… okay, that’s fun as ****! I want a turn!
Blades? Aren’t those dangerous, even ice ones?
Also, Palworld is out and I’m so obsessed with it right now.

YES!
