Never got to play with original trilogy myself, and have always had trouble with emulators, so this ‘reignite’ is awesome for me! Only got half way through the first game(occupied with 3 other games as well), and loving every moment so far… except 100%ing the level ‘Tree Tops’, that level is sadistic.
Tree Tops is beyond sadistic. I had to use youtube to figure out what to do and even then i got game over. The only time I got game over was during that place. I finished the first game but Let’s Go Pikachu came out and poor Spyro got put to the side.
Yeah.. I think those console’s controllers should have been rubber, so that you could safely take your frustrations out on them without hurting/breaking them. I think I would want.. Hmm, I don’t know what I would want remade. More like some things I would want to be ‘updated’.. like Fallout 3 being updated to the new graphics systems, instead of dx9.0.. At least Fallout New Vegas was like.. 9.8. (or at least felt like it)
I see Kade has better taste then I imagined if he wants an HD remake of Soul Reaver. I first played it on Dreamcast so I could not stomach playing it on PS1 after that. But I have to say Zephon’s domain scared me like little else could. I remember my friend sitting with me the first time I was there. It was in a large open area but you could hear one of those spider vampires clicking around. Then as I’m looking for it it strikes at me from within one of the small buildings. We both jumped and decided we needed to pause the game and go get a snack somewhere with daylight.
I LOVE the Soul Reaver games. I actually just plugged the first one in last night and it worked! Such a great game. I would love to see a remake of that. It would be so good!
Heck I remember when i played my first teen rated game (i was thirteen) it was infamous 2 cause i just grabbed one of my dads old games and my mom freaked. Don’t even get me started about her reaction the first time I played assassin’s creed

I never chance to play the original trilogy for years and then when I got a ps1 i could only get Year of the Dragon.
LOL – A PS1 is the only game machine I’ve ever owned, and I bought it when I was nearly 40! 🙂
