Not for Sale
You just have to prove you’re a responsible game owner before you can shop here, that’s all. Oh, and also pass a background check.

Just applied to a game shop. Not gonna lie if I get the job it’s going to be hard to to spend my paychecks on collectables and retro games.
Same here although this is the 3rd time I’ve applied and had an interview there in 3 months… Dude keeps forgetting me and hiring kids instead that can’t even close for the night.
Careful, my local gamestore manager likes to hire the beautiful girls who know nothing about games, but then I guess if they attract more customers they’d be better liked by management then someone who knows more then the manager.
I bought a bunch of Spyro figures and statue from my local Gamestop no funko pops however because those things are very stupid. Too bad I have to a different game stop though to buy world of warships game cards.
It’s not a game stop it’s a store similar to where Riley worked. I only saw one girl ever work there and she seems to know what she was talking about. She sold me a new cable for for the Wii u tablet. But it’s got a little bit of everything in it from Comics to switch games. The owner is pretty awesome I really hope I can work there. I’m planning to move away but if I can get this job I’ll stick around.
Well, the dream of Riley and Kade living together died.
They could work together… just need to make sure Kade learns some restraint.
It didn’t die; it was just kicked down the road a bit.
I remember watching an old video from a retro game store collector who’s main advice was: “If you want to run a video game store, don’t be a collector.”
This comic should be Exhibit A.
As soon as Riley has said the store was to sell ……….. i’ve stopped to read
I’m now officially afraid of the future strips with Kade persisting in his idea
There’s a huge difference between knowing Video Games and running a small business or store.
that moment when you comment but it doesn’t show
I knooooooww omg
I would like to see this fortress she has built :3
Maybe Kade could just help Riley buy the store for herself? I mean she’s extremely knowledgeable Riley could do it. Or maybe Nicole could help Nicole seems like she might be a better business partner sorry Kade
Maybe if Kade DID buy the store. He just be the investor and not the one running the place.
I have to admit, “ I’ve bought you a store of one of your favorite things” would be pretty hard to tip as a Valentines Day gift…
That’s true. I think the only thing that could top it is like, a super-rare only-one-in-existence-game.
Even harder would be to package the shop ^_^”
I don’t get the lack of love to Fallout 76, I see lots of hate in posts related to it and such. First the fans demand an online fallout game, so Bethesda gives in and starts making one, then fans demand it asap, so it gets released with a staff and lacking much content, then fans demand more content, so Bethesda begins working on such stuff but has to add in microtransactions and such to pay their staff to work on it, but still fans hate on it.
This could be the beginning of a perfect partnership.
Riley manages and has final say on pricing.
Kade specializes in customer development, sales and acquisitions.
Good to see Riley will keep Kade grounded in realty while Kade will keep Riley filled with hope. They are the perfect couple.
Riley needs to stop thinking of sharing a room with Harvey and start thinking of sharing one with Kade! And I think that they should run the game store between them.
I say discuss with Nichole, about gifting Riley the cash to buy the store! I mean after all these two did get a house and inheritance.., and it might sweeten the relationship between Riley and Kade.
It seems like Kade’s collar charm keeps getting bigger… On another note, Kade, running a game store? The (electric) utility bill will be longer than his gameplay hours!
The business person in me would suggest looking into the government programs encouraging alternative power generation.
I think Harvey could get a few grave spinners they could hook up to a generator.
