Forget Harvey being Trustworhty. Wjat’s the deal with him being able to close his eyesockets?! Can he use his ghost body to summon small amounts of skeletal mass? I need answers dammit!
I believe this was explained in an earlier comic. Harvey uses his powers to cause illusions that make it look like he’s shapeshifting, if I remember right.
I really love what you did with the first two panels there.
Also, I’m fond of these chin-up shots, like Rick in panels 1 and 3. As well as the look of slow, doubt-stained realization in the bottom row.
Oh yea, I hadn’t paid attention until I saw the charms. But now I notice, only the two siblings and Ness have collars.
Looking back, they also aren’t wearing them whilst playing and in in-game shots. There are times when one of em is regular (with collar), talking to the player in disguise (without).
That’s some attention to detail right there.
It makes me wonder if there’s a backstory to Kade and Nicole wearing those tagged collars. I can assume Nicole (as a puppy) put one on Ness, because she wanted it to be like her.
They put the collar on ness in an earlier comic because ness kept sneeking up on them they cant put one on harvey becase he doesn’t have shoulders and it slides off
I’m still not convinced Harvey is actually dangerous. I think he just badly wants everyone to think he is. When it’s come right down to it, there’s just enough ambiguity in everything he’s done and said in this comic to where it might all just be him making things up and he’s not actually capable of 1/10th of the things he claims. Unless Tim has said otherwise somewhere I’m not aware of 🙂
Honestly, if he is telling the truth, that would be a pretty epic… something. I don’t know if it counts as a prank or ghost story, but it would be epic either way.
Maybe instead of telling them a ghost story, he gave one for them to tell later. To be frank, I feel that would be a priceless Halloween gift, wouldn’t you say?
Is it just me or is Harvey less trustworthy now?
As if he has ever been trustworthy
r/hmm
The most trust worthy soul around
And the Halloween story concludes with Harvey now being even odder than before (and possibly even more dangerous 😉
Dang it Rick! This was all your fault!
As always
No it isn’t. If it’s unintentional.

Cartoon logic – bit like how the original Spider-man’s eyes could squint, close and open.
To be honest I’m pretty sure he uses the same mind bending stuff to blink and whatever as he uses to look scary
I’m pretty sure harvey explained this earlier

I’ll have to look through some comics tommlrow then because it’s 11:15 from where i live and i’m alreqdy half asleep writting this.
I think they have to learn to Harvey the difference between “mentally scary” and “physically frightening” ^_^”
I’d love an arc where Rick or Riley are the “main character” ^_^
We got that last year with the laser tag arc I believe
You mean the zombie escape game ? I don’t remember Riley or Rick were putted ahead of the others in this arc ?
I just say that because they were the last two and everything.
Starting to wish they just banish his soul. His unreadable behavior is going too far.
First panel is a perfect picture of boredom ^_^”
That’s why they need Harley around!
*Harvey
I “love” when the phone tries to be smarter than me…
smart(alex)phone
see, this is why riley is the most reasonable character in this comic
I love Rick’s facial expression on the fourth panel

Right, I forgot that part. Still, I wonder if he put them on the main protags as a callback to *Housepets!* Rick Griffin’s comic

FWIW the cast page actually comments that Harvey’s “abilities seem limited to summoning a pair of spectral arms”
…he DID change that one guy into a zombie…
At least, it didn’t end up in a maze…
Note Harvey had no trouble getting out of that locked basement 😉
