Is it just me, or are the speech bubbles in the 5th frame (I can’t remember what the name for them is) a different color than the rest of the speech bubbles? Greatjob on the comic by the way 🙂
I also found the PS4 a bit of a let-down back then…
I’m not a big game collector, but didn’t find many games I was interested in… most games I already played on PS1 or PC. And most of those I bought were also released for PC after a while. Plus the PC is quieter than the PS4. ^^
I liked the controller, though. Nicer than the Xbox controller I bought for the PC.
I remember when I bought a PS2 which could play DVDs, but was so loud we bought another player. ^^
And then download-sizes, automatic updates, required internet connections despite getting games on DVD…
Is this really an improvement compared to PS1 or SNES games?
SNES Harvest Moon.
Multiple endings, almost-sandbox-like, almost-Realtime-events, skill-slot system…
Tens of hours gameplay, 3 gamesave-slots, 5s game-loading time, 2s map loading time…
All on a single cartridge from 1996…
I still play that sometimes… had to fix a controller at some point, though…
Nice to see Rick has more furniture now
Nostalgia is pretty effective.
I’ll be honest, I haven’t even TRIED looking for a PS5 specifically because there’s no new games on it yet I want 😛
My excuse is “There aren’t enough consoles being made yet so…”
My excuse is, “I’m still on a PS-1, and only have 4 games!
“Twisted Metal(1)”, “GranTurismo-2”, “Spyro”, and “Spyro: Ripto’s Rage”. LOL 🙂
Same, but I also have Medieval 1&2, and a few Laura Croft games. And at $500, I’ll be holding back on a PS5.
What is “Medieval” like?
I’ll stick to the excuse of: PC master race 😛

yep. there a different color.
It’s to distinguish which character is speaking which bubble, done when there’s lots in a panel or the character is not seen.

I guess the PS5 is similar in that regard to PS4.
I miss cartridges with complete games on them.

I love Nicole’s sarcasm!
}:-)
I haven’t even played a PS5 *sad gamer noises*
If an internet connection is required even to play stand-alone video games, I’m not even interested in playing a PS5.

Ahh yes, technology has reached the point if you jostle a electronic device, it won’t immediately break, wonderful . . .
Ok they’ve successfully become attached to it now Harvey.

Great job on the variety of poses in this one. The characters look very natural.
