Different folkes perceive things differently, of course, but I was sure from the first that Nicole was female. (Yeah; the name helped me. ;-)) 🙂
I think Riley’s always been just a bit shy, but in this one she’s also in a strange house and unexpectedly meeting the “girlfriend” of the -guy- she’s come to play video games with. awk-ward! 🙂

This whole page is very well done, but panels 3 & 4 are my favorites. Nicole and Riley’s confusion and conversation is wonderful, and so is the art. Love Riley tilting her head to look around Nicole at Kade as Nicki swats him.
In panel 3 I at first thought Kade was drooling at the game screen, but it was just dirt on MY screen. 🙂
I think it would be both scary and hilarious if it turns out that Riley is a ghost hunter and planned to exorcise Harvey and Ness when she finds out about them. XD
I went through all of the comic strips since the start, I feel satisfied from doing that =3
However I did forget to check when Kade wasn’t wearing his contact lenses though…

Yeah, I can get this. I don’t often tell people about my family ether. In a world where two other siblings is considered ether the norm or getting high, if you have more it tends to floor people…. yeah, just don’t talk about it.
Except he doesn’t see her as a girlfriend, he comes off as completely clueless when it comes to romance and dating so he’d no more feel a need to mention his sister or that he’s living with her to Riley than he would anyone else it’s just not anything that’s on his mind.
Apparently Kade and Nicole get mistaken for a couple often.
Or some of the fans mistaking Nicole for being male.

With Nicole’s personality, the fur and the lack of other gender identifiers such as clothing makes it difficult until you really get into the comic.
Her having a female name also helps.
I think It would be better If Nicole would stop in the middle of saying Rick’s name

When I die in a game, I exit the game and start over from the last save point so I don’t lose any lives.
From the looks of it, that could be a Genesis controller. If this is the case, the game may not have save points.

Even if i can understand it , i think that it’s more preferable to prepare your future girlfriend about your family before she meets them really
