As a stuffed animal Ness is technically an ‘it’, but when Nicole was a puppy she designated that particular plushie as a female, so either would be acceptable I guess?
But then we also don’t know what gender, if any, the spirit possessing the plush doll is. Could identify as male, but doesn’t have a mouth to complain.
Mario Kart 8 is my least favorite in the series. One item at a time only, really bad online if not playing with friends, and the flying and upside down and stuff are fun, but they aren’t the best. Mario Kart Wii is still one of my favorites, along with 64 and Super Circut for the GBA. DS was a fun one too.
“One piece is plenty; thanks. Would you look at that! My soul’s already in one piece!”
It seem that Harvey and Ness have never heard of the mute button.
(A quick art critique: there seems to be some inconsistency about the light source for highlights. The couch’s highlights (and the shadow it casts on the wall) suggest a light coming from the TV, but the characters have highlights that suggest a light source above them.)
Redyoshi, I’ve been the victim of those playing a video game in the middle of the night and can’t use a mute button. It’s the most annoying thing in the world when you wake up in the middle of the night and go, “Gawd, just take the NES into your room and play Bomberman in there if you want to play it that badly! Don’t do this to me on a school night… *whimper*”
As for Panther… *pulls out the old man voice* Well, sonny, if it’s one of dem new fangled TV thing-a-mabobers that is stuck to the wall, that may be it.
One wonders, given the size of the house on the estate Kade & Nicole inherited, why they don’t have a guest room for Rick to use. Especially with the likelihood of all-night gaming sessions, he’d probably be over often enough to have his own room.
but they’re not using scooby’s house, they’re using the house that they had before they got his house, you can easily tell because in the outside scenes there’s no wall, plus they have neighbors, which they wouldn’t if they lived in scooby’s old house
Sorry to point this out, but every outside scene clearly shows it’s the estate they inherited: the strip where Nicole first talks about their neighbors even features its front door http://www.savestatecomic.com/2015/12/freezing-ice/
Wow. Liking these designs for Harvey.
I like how Rick hits the controller with his tail.
Ness clearly is gonna win all the races because he has better reflexes
She
Did it mention what gender it is? I kept calling Ness ‘it’ :l

That’s one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard, Aescula. Into the loony bin you go.
Rick is gonna catch a cold sleeping without a blanket.
Can he catch cold? Is he warm-blooded?
As an iguana (reptile) , Rick is cold blooded . Remember :

Oh, right…
I think two little somethings are gonna catch something alright. :/
What’s that pink dot on Ness’s face?
I believe it’s her tongue. 😛
It is ^^
But…where’s Rick gonna sleep now?
Don’t worry, there’s plenty of time to figure that out. He won’t be sleeping for several days.
I bet Rick’s heart is going at 150cc. http://www.badumtss.net/badumtss_single.png
Only 150? Harvey can make it 200 if he really wanted to, but Rick is his…friend. :]
don’t u just hate it when eldrich gods threaten ur soul? i know i do.
I think he’s got enough fear to make the drive home. >.>
Moooooooo.
Betcha Rick is taking that bed offer right about now lol
Did Rick go climb into Kade’s bed? Did he?
*nosebleed*
I was wondering the same thing
Maybe they should have played on Rainbow Road to lullaby Rick back to sleep.
Wait, how are they playing a Mario Kart Wii game on a different console? They’re not playing on the Wii…
Or is there Moo Moo Meadows on a different Mario Kart as well? (My knowledge of MK is limited to the Wii only…)
I believe Moo Moo Meadows is in Mario Kart 8, and if it isn’t, they could be playing Mario Kart Wii on the virtual Wii on the Wii U.
I should know this, I own Mario Kart 8 with all the DLC (came with the Wii U).

Oh , new form for Harvey : LOVE IT
Is he evolving , as pokemons ? ^_^
But i don’t think he has frightened Rick a lot . Or else , this last would have left the pillow on the couch by running away
That was mean
Harvey keeps making similar threats, but I’m starting to wonder if he even has any evil powers. Perhaps he’s all bone and no bite. >:3
With that quick slice he gave to a box in one issue, I wouldn’t try him.
Poor Rick xD
hey great comic
I saw this on a top 100 comics
Yes I do want a Ness plushie
Which Mario Kart?
Please let it not be Double Dash. I still get nightmares from the blue shells.
should’ve pokes Harvey’s nose.
Poked… **** me
Juuuust reminding us that Harvey is STILL an elder god, no matter how cute we might think he is.

…Bah; I’m too used to using BBC instead of HTML…
Harvey being looking up for the screen , it seems the television is upper than them . This explains maybe the light source “above” them

Too bad they don’t have the equipment from “Monster Manor.” I think a level 2 Rusty Blaster could take down Harvey.
Dat tail swat, so cute 😛
No wonder Lizards grow new ones when ripped off, tails are so useful. 🙂
Let’s… not find out… if that’s true for Rick…
Lesson of the day kids, don’t mess with your friendly house ghost when he is gaming, as then he turns not so friendly.
If you read “welcome to Mario Kart” in Mario’s voice, you had an awesome childhood.
Sometimes I think Nessie is just -that much- more situationally aware than Harvey. 😉

Yeah, in a house THAT BIG you’d think their would be a guest room. plus he could’ve always slept in the library.
but they’re not using scooby’s house, they’re using the house that they had before they got his house, you can easily tell because in the outside scenes there’s no wall, plus they have neighbors, which they wouldn’t if they lived in scooby’s old house

Those bobble-head cows are creepy…
