Hmm… Nicole could be a Warrior, Rick could be an Archer (or was it called Ranger in the games that had jobs?), and Kade definitely should be a Blue Mage.
Claire seems like one of those “irritating but still really adorable” kind of kid. Chris, well, seems like the overly tough kid, which is common. Basically, they seem to personify the different age groups rather well.
You know, judging from Kade’s initial expression, he’s thinking, “this kid gonna die tonight.”
Well pretty sure if a person is colorblind and can see the red wire would be green, so obviously it you would have to cut the wire(in this case). I’d know cause I am colorblind. It sucks.
Am I out of place is I was born in the late 90s, but would rather play games from the 80s and 90s rather than the games that are out now? The games from the 90s are really fun. Genesis, Dreamcast, SNES, N64.
No, not at all. I was born in 1991, but because I was broke and my parents thought video games were evil I was never able to get the new systems. So while everyone else was playing N64 I was playing SNES, and when the GameCube and PS2 became popular I had just barely gotten an N64 and PS1. It made me have a true appreciation for retro consoles despite them being well before my time.
I have a ps3 ans ps4, but I always love going back to the older consoles. Whenever my brother sees me playing on an old console he says. “Look at those graphics”
The only console I ever had was a Famicom copy we bought at the local market and I loved it as a child. Too bad it broke down. Luckily I got to know emulation and I still play old games on my PC.
Also many of the recent games have pixel graphics and chiptunes.
It may help that until I was 7, all my family had was an NES. When I got my GameCube and GBA for Christmas 2005, I had no clue they were even related to the NES, I just knew I had Mario Party.
Chris and Clare… Redfield? That would be so awesome if Amber’s last name is Redfield. … Then again, if that were the case, I’d say double check the house for zombies and BOWs…
On another note, why does Clare’s shirt remind me somewhat of what a white mage looks like in a Final Fantasy game?
Claire & Nicole in the last panel for the ‘win’! 🙂 No help from Chris as he is apparently “too big” to play games with his little sister, but those two are wonderful.
Actually, he is playing. The two kids are playing the game, and he’s got the controller (or keyboard or whatever,) and she’s turned around to explain what it looks like.
They took their own TV because light guns such as the NES Zapper don’t work on modern TVs. They will play modern games on Amber’s TV, but if they were to play Duck Hunt and other light gun games, they need one of the old CRT TVs for the light gun to work, so they brought their own.
Hey, I am surprised that Kade didn’t consider castlevania with his personallity. Also…yeah that’d better be a back to the future referance chris or this night may not go well for you! :DDODOD
Always choose Battletoads. On another note, how old are Kade, Nicole and Rick actually?
They are in their mid-twenties
BOOM!!!!
This game only gets more fun as the timer reaches zero.
Well…guess who will always doom us all in the name of fun?
Huh…Harvey not in this….guess that rules THAT out.
Chris and Claire are adorable. :3
They absolutely are! As is apt for fawns (it is fawns for reindeer right?)
I would imagine so
~laughs~ The little one is wearing White Mage clothes!
And also… wow, clothing is entirely decorative in this universe, isn’t it.
Okay i was not the only one that noticed that… its a really nice touch!~
Seconded.
She is, in-fact, wearing a white mage dress.
And yes, clothing is decorative when you have fur.
…Now I really want to see the main cast dressed up as FF Jobs.
Hmm… Nicole could be a Warrior, Rick could be an Archer (or was it called Ranger in the games that had jobs?), and Kade definitely should be a Blue Mage.
Decorative plus extra warmth.
I thought it was weird that the females had antlers, then i looked it up and found that thats how its supposed to be
Yes, but the Boy should have none…
I loved Kade’s reaction to the babies toy comment (That made me laugh).
That was my exact reaction to that comment as well, made me laugh.
Funny, my reaction would be to beat them with it. >:(
…

Chris is at that age where he doesn’t want to be treated too much like a kid.
I wonder if Amber is a RE fan?
YAY ; i was sure Kade would choose “battletoads” as game
Claire is so sweet , but Chris seems to be a lightly ******* off child
And ……………… According the last panel , i think greatly the challenge is lost for midnight ^_^”
You’d be too, if you had a sister who was as energetic as Claire.
I mean it for his words in the third panel ^^”
Keep Talking and No One Explodes is ridiculously fun to both watch win and lose. The stress it causes some players should be a meme, I swear.
In the second panel , Chris seems to be jealous about Nicole’s treatment for Claire
Or he’s at that age where he dislikes ‘childish’ things and disapproves of Claire’s behavior. That’s what I thought of it at least :p
Oh , i see : the proud little man *giggles*
In retrospect, Battletoads would’ve probably been easier =P
how do you cut the red wire if you color blind? lol
Well pretty sure if a person is colorblind and can see the red wire would be green, so obviously it you would have to cut the wire(in this case). I’d know cause I am colorblind. It sucks.
*obviously you would need to cut the green wire wether or not it’s red
That does really suck actually. You’d have to play with someone who knows about that and knows what you mean. :/
Like I said it’s hard to explain it.
It also depends what colours you can’t see o.o
These darn whippersnappers with their call of Battlefield and their dern Fallout Skyrims! *shakes fist*

I still only have a PS1, and two games: ‘Gran Turismo II’ and ‘Twisted Metal’. 🙂
I have a ps3 ans ps4, but I always love going back to the older consoles. Whenever my brother sees me playing on an old console he says. “Look at those graphics”
To RyththeDemonGamer, that is exactly what they said in the Legend of Zelda rap, great graphics. 😀

Question : why Nicole and Kade have taken their television (previous strip) if it was to use Amber’s one at the end (last panel) ?

Ah , OK
Is the title a pun I’m not getting? Because otherwise you’ve got a typo there; should be ‘defusing’.
Hey, I am surprised that Kade didn’t consider castlevania with his personallity. Also…yeah that’d better be a back to the future referance chris or this night may not go well for you! :DDODOD
