“I hope we didn’t sell it.”
Wait, what? How do you sell a preordered item when it’s very clearly in the preorder bin? I mean really, that’s not even close to the others sitting on their shelves.
Unless some total n00b (not necessarily this croc/gator girl) didn’t know it was a preorder bin, which’d mean other clients may have bought items preordered by someone else. Or perhaps another cashier did customers a favor to maximize profit, at Kade’s (among others) expense.
Oh I have had that happen before. Including a lay-a-way rare special edition that was sold out of the lay-a-way bin in the one week between when I put first payment on it and came back to finish paying for it. And it was the Manager who took it out of lay-a-way to sell it to another customer.
Physically going to a store just to pre-order? You can do that electronically without having to spend it physically. Or, is Kade buying it for a reason? ‘Cause of the Black Friday deal?
From the looks of it, I’m thinking this is -not- the same store Riley works in. I can’t remember if Riley worked in a ‘new stuff’ store or a ‘used stuff’ store…or a ‘mixed stuff’ store. π
The customer is always right.
Until they ask for a refund, then they cease to be a customer.
NO THEY ****** WELL ARE NOT!
No. The customer is /NOT/ always right. Usually, they’re very, very, wrong and very, very stupid.
http://notalwaysright.com
One of my favorite sites ever, also I include all 7 not always sites as one. π
The customer is not always right; but, you want to -let- them THINK they are, AND that you have done a great job in taking care of them. π
The customer is always right…or you let them think they are…until, when they least expect it, you CRUSH THEM AND HAVE THEM AT YOUR MERCY!
What the ………………. 0_o
Kade , don’t say to me you’ve fought with a gator for a game?
Kade has something in his right hand , in the last panel ; so i think he has got his pre-order ………………………. But what he has done or said for it ?
Based on the last line from the ‘gator, they probably spent an inordinate amount of time debating semantics.
That always makes me cranky.
I hate this too
Most likely a manager had to be called in to resolve the issue.
Holiday time = Hard time
Should’ve used steam and skipped black Friday!
Kade was probably going for one of those special editions.
Poor kade
Soul Reaver scarf?
Yes. good job noticing that. We have seen him wear before though.
Eh, I guess I should’ve noticed it the first time, but I wasn’t keeping up with this at that time ;P
I don’t see any difference in Kade other than he’s “Mister Grumpy” again.
Oh, hello Reptile #2; and oh my, s/he’s pantsless! :O
Err, #3. Typo XD
When was the last time anyone wore pants in this comic?
The last time Rick showed up, I imagine.
Being a cold blooded reptile as Rick , we could expect she had pants to be warm
Haha. That was in reference to the other 2 reptiles focused on in the comic, not to everyone. XD
Ha! Love it. I can totally see Kade turning into an Al Bundy type guy as he gets older.
”Always remember, son, there is a reason we were born with two hands.” *scratches base of tale and ear with either hand*
Ha! Perfect.
“I hope we didn’t sell it.”

And that, kids, is why you don’t preorder anything you can’t pick up within a day or two.
Or I don’t, at any rate.
They still sell PC games in store?! What sorcery is this D:
PC master race and all that jazz.
I tend to use language you can’t repeat in this situation.
Kade Raziel be like : “I would choose The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion over this Pre-Order existence!”
Pre-orders?! You mean buying something that doesn’t exist yet? Nah, I’ll wait for pre-owned games.
>”I hope we didn’t sell our item in the pre-order bin”
>”I don’t know if we can sell this because this isn’t a pre-ordered unit”
Am I the only one who sees that this hired help is a few crumbs short of a biscuit?
Physically going to a store just to pre-order? You can do that electronically without having to spend it physically. Or, is Kade buying it for a reason? ‘Cause of the Black Friday deal?
He’s going into the store to pick up an already pre-ordered game, that was released on Black Friday.
Ah okay, I never understood that. Thank you.

I wonder if Kade and Gamercat would get along XD Especially during the Black Friday rush.
see this is why if I get a physical copy of a game I do it online. No need to deal with black friday.
It is sad when that happens
Maybe next time Kade should bring Harvey along as incentive. Harvey might be able to get a few souls along the way. (It IS Black Friday, after all.)
