All joking aside, Virtual Boy never caused anyone to go blind – it just makes your eyes hurt really bad and gives you a head ache.

The irony is that the seller was once likely employed as a leader dog.
Wait. Is that a Kade fursuit? HOW? The comic isn’t even half a year old, how do you have one already? O_O
If it’s just an extremely similar design then wow what’s one funny coincidence. π
Tycho! Fancy meetin’ you here! π
How’s things?
Hi again, Nyaliva! It’s a small virtual world we live in, eh?
Gaboris, π Thanks for the compliment. It is indeed a coincidence. Don’t be surprised to see more blue merle Aussie fursuits pop up in the next few seasons though… they are brilliant dogs. I think there was only one other Aussie fursuit created shortly before Tycho. I designed my fursuit in early 2010.
When I saw Kade pop up on the TWC ad, it took only a millisecond for me to click on the link . I especially like how Tim draws the faces of his characters with requisite headtilts, teeth, ears, smiles & frowns. There is a *lot* of potential in this webcomic as it gets rolling! It reminds me of Rick Griffen’s work but then again, it’s totally different too.
Ah! Fursuit! Evil! I think Anthropomorphic Animals are Adorable in Cartoons, but Fursuits are just Unsettling, Stiff Motions & Still Eyes Create a Sense of the Uncanny that Follows one to their Nightmares, Clearly they are the Work That-which-can-Not-be-Named, otherwise Known as “Robert”…
Then you crearly don’t know Tycho, he’s a lot of fun, a really good showman and always getting people around a good laugh and entertainment; and most of all, he looks really cute.
Check out his deviantart page (http://tychoaussie.deviantart.com/gallery)
That’s how fursuiters could make people enjoy their presence.
Now I’m blushing!
However this is Tim’s page & website – I’m looking forward to seeing how he builds his world. We can talk fursuiting elsewhere. (However I wouldn’t mind seeing what sorts of mayhem would ensue if “uncle Tycho” showed up on his motorcycle) π Well I’m off now to go help a friend install a new clutch in his car, then toss a few firecrackers around the yard to wake up Kra’ul Sheykhon :poke: :poke: >^.^<
You are right Tycho, I didn’t even talked about this comic here and that’s a little rude; so, to say something about it, it’s really good, the art is high quality and the characters are very well done (and cute!), I had to click the link in TWC right away after seeing the wonderful animation; hoping to see more of the story behind those characters, I’ll be checking out every week π Good work Tim!
Even the Dragon that Conquered the Kingdom of the Dwarves Bends to your Will, what Kind of Deal did you Make with the Denizens of Hades, you Fiend! No, I’m Joking, I Didn’t Mean to Insult you if I Did, Fursuits Just Aren’t for me. By the Way, I rather Enjoy this Comic & Hope to See Much More of it in the Future.
You know, for some fursuits I might agree with you, specifically ones with anime eyes that are made to look cartoony and come off as a rejected theme park mascot. Personally I feel if it can’t be fully anthropomorphic (eyes move, mouth moves, ears move, tail moves…) I’d never get into one myself.
However, Tychoaussie’s made to be realistic, modelling a real dog which can just happen to walk on two legs. The mouth moves a little and the eyes look like they’re looking at certain things from different angles (which I assume is intentional). Frankly it’s a phenomenal suit which doesn’t try to be more than a fursuit can be and Tycho wields it masterfully!
And no, I’m not defending That-which-can-not-be-Named, I’m not associated with any ‘Robert’, go about your business, obey his will…
A seeing-eye dog, no more.
Ouch. That’s… That’s a bit dark… O_O
But yeah it does fit the situation. π
Oh and ya know how there’s ALWAYS a guy that asks “Where was he keeping that?” I’ll be that guy this time and ask where was that wallet hiding?
Am I seeing it right that Kade’s pulling it out of his collar? What is that a “collar of holding” or something? π
Yeah, I was bit on the fence about posting this one. Hopefully it came across as a joke and nothing more.
Kade and Nicole keep stuff in their oversized collars. Think of collars as the equivalent to T-Shirts in our world – something younger people wear. This shows how juvenile those two still are.
No prob man it’s cool. It gives you the “Ouch” when you think about it, but still it’s fitting for the situation. π
Ahh, that a small, but pretty nice world building idea. Most people don’t go into details like that. Let’s say that I won’t complain about how you can’t hide a wallet in an average T-Shirt either. So it’s cool. XD
I don’t know, I heard reports that it caused blindness in the red spectrum if used for too long.
Aside from that, great comic and keep up the good work.
Fun and cute comic! Great job π
More like Distant cousins, where the family doesn’t like to talk about Virtual boy anymore. lol
Just found this comic and read through the archive from the beginning. Excellent work. I’m normally not one who comments, but please consider this a lot of encouragement. Great art, great characters, clever gags and writing. Exceptionally well done.
Wait a minute, am I the only one who noticed that the blind dog doesn’t have a red-tipped cane?
Huh. I never even knew that those white canes have a red tip. O_O
I just found out about this webcomic while going to vote for Twokinds on Webcomic website. I changed my mind after reading, and I now choose this.
God two kinds and this comic are very close in my likeness (I donβt know what else to call it) and I donβt know which one to vote for
Ah Virtual Boy, taken from us before your time. Me and my bros got one and a lot of games for it just as they were going off the market. So every store was putting it on clearance. Been ages since I played it though. I mainly played the Wario game, Mario Tennis (you could see a slight bounce in Peach’s ***** when she walked away from the net), and that wireframe space fighter that was full of hidden stuff. Seriously shooting at one spot next to a door revieled a house with stick people in it!
I cannot wait until this comic is popular enough to start selling merchandise. I love this comic!
I got this joke the second time I read it.
