crocs hibernate when it get’s below 70 degrees Fahrenheit, smaller reptiles only hibernate in places where it gets really dang cold, but most will just be less active. Due to Rick’s size, I’d say at about less than 60 degrees, he would need multiple layers of thick clothing to even stay awake, much less do anything strenuous, guy probably feels like a brick right now.
Actually… Yeah, I’m not biologist but don’t we wear heavy clothes on cold weathers so we can keep the most amount of cold out from us with these clothes and, at the same time, we use them so we can retain the most amount of heat our body generates inside the clothes
But in the case of reptiles, there’s no heat to maintain in to begin with xD
Maybe it’s that this is a comic with ghost, haunted plushies, probably a bunch more crazy stuff, and talking animals so maybe there are different rules to science there

That’s more how Rick has been caught than the fact he’s been infected : frozen and not using his gun (then Riley not using it too) X_X . For example : a better way could have been Harvey falling on Rick from a tree and “beeping” him

Do they even generate their own body heat for the clothing to actually keep them warm?
