What card game is that? I’m guessing Yu-Gi-Oh personally. Only card game I know real well. I also know Pokemon fairly well, but i don’t think you put cards sideways in that one… and I know next to nothing about Magic or Hearthstone.
actually, if you play the pokemon card game properly, you supposed to rotate the lead pokemon card if it has a certain status condition, and while I don’t know hearthstone, you also rotate the cards in MtG, but that had to do with the element cards that sit below your monsters/characters to allow them to attack and when you used the elements you turned them sideways to show they were used then the next turn you turn them back right-side up, if I remember correctly, been foverever since I played MtG so don’t quote me on that.
now judging by how the all the cards are face-up, and the color of them, I’m leaning towards MtG for the card game they’re playing as Magic’s cards are usually on dark backgrounds compared to Yugioh

Dark brown back with a lighter brown oval definitely looks like Magic, YGO is usually dark brown with a black oval

wishbone was a big part of my day as a kid, since the channel it was on was one of the few that we got back when we did not have cable.
It introduced me to a lot of the old classic stories, long before I ever got my first library card.

Do non-anthro animals exist in this universe?
It’s funny how I see this question in nearly every other media with anthro and “normal” animals in the same world!
The answer is yes, the same way humans can exist side by side with other apes. So an anthro animal seeing its non-anthro counterpart in a TV show, would be no more awkward than us seeing a chimpanzee on TV.
I ask because I’ve never seen non-anthro animals in this setting. In one cases when referring to animal enemies in certain games, the comic cut to some anthro wolf npcs.
I figured it was just for the joke, but some comics have it so that all animals of certain types (usually restricted to vertebrates) are anthro. This trope is more common especially when the anthro animals demonstrate animal qualities beyond just appearance, such as Rick being cold-blooded.
Are there normal dogs in this verse? I don’t recall seeing them before.
I have plenty of childhood items I would take this great care of, so this is understandable. If anything happened to my Wii that I got in 2007, I would do anything to try and fix it even if it would be cheaper to just get a new Wii.
As someone who loved Wishbone as a child, I love how Nicole keeps making him pop up every so often.
