True, but then why would (‘ambers-husband’) need too tell the story…If they were old college buds, Nicole would have already known along with Kade, and then he’d only be speaking to Amber or/and his kids. So I mean it just doesn’t really tie in if you ask me. Unless that they didn’t recognie eachother at first? That’s always a possibility, plus it isn’t our comic too decide what happens next.

But for them knowing Nicole and Kade , i think more about these last ones going to introduce themselves to the neighbors the day where they have inherited of the mansion then created some friendly links ; that’s explaining why Amber calls them for a baby-sitting
I really don’t want to argue with you, but he doesn’t actually say that in the fourth panel…(we can also mean someone who isn’t their, In our essence his dorm-friends.) Although you could be right about them being closer then regular neighbors based on this. 🙂
